That was cool. I wondered what a tundra truck was. Similar to the MOW (Maintenance of Way) vehicles that I've watched on the Virtual Railfan live channel. Not bad on the delivery price either. Stay safe and thank you for sharing!

It was part of the deal when the state purchased the train system from the fed gov years ago. They have to always service the off grid people or build a road. Road would cost way to much.

you need to look up a grader. Its a heavy grate or just a couple horizontal steel pieces with some heft to them, and they grade out the road. You attach it to the back and just drag it along to fix the bumps in the road. Dont grade your bridges

Wondering if you guys could get a permit to run your own UTV-draisine or railtruck like those railway maintenance pickup trucks ? Would save a lot of loading and unloading, just hopp off the tracks at your location and unload your supplies at home. Germans had that back in the days.

I love this!!!!!! I'm wondering how you chose the Teryx 800 (i.e. for special features or availability in your area... etc?) I've never owned an ATV and I'd like one here. But I don't know how to determine the best one for my needs and steep sloped land. And of course, when I mention it, people say that it wouldn't be safe on my slope. Oh. But I know that they drive theirs on the slopes.

Joesy, Scheesch... sounding like a hippie city slicker, "If we can save Just ONE tree...it's worth it !" Honey, we gots more trees than Carter's has little green liver pills. Hell boy, you could cut a tree down every day for the rest of your life untill you're too old to swing an axe or pull start a chain saw, and for every tree you cut, 10 more wold have sprung up, each and every day. Like you city slickers cutting grass and some fool crying about it. Get a life, chop down a tree... ☆
