A bloodied lone warrior stands alone overlooking a war torn battlefield his fallen comrades lie around him yet he is not afraid. He clutches in one hand his sword and in the other the banner with the emblem of his kingdom: the very home he swore to protect. As he looks over the field he witnesses a massive army advancing towards him. Not looking at the ruins of his home that lay behind him he merely closes his eyes and images of his friends, his family, his wife and infant son spark a flame deep within his heart. As the flame grows so does his determination to fight for what he once held dear to his heart. His eyes open again and a breeze shifts the dust around his boots and causes the banner to flap softly. He raises his banner firmly planting it into the loose soil, yet it remains firm in the wind, standing as tall as the lone warrior. The man takes his sword and raises it high as he lets out a mighty roar of both pain and pride as he charges towards the hordes of his foes. Sprinting on what seems to be a limitless energy he meets the first wave head on: cutting and slicing through them like a man possessed. Around him, his enemies fall to his blade. Eventually his sword shatters on the armor of one foe, but his attack do not cease, as it slew his adversary. The lone warrior merely continues to the next, and then the next; until the field again lie barren of all life except for him. Looking up, he hears the whistle of arrows flying towards him. The sun blots out, but he again heads towards his next group of opponents, as the sea of arrows fall behind him. Like a tidal wave, a few strike his chest, but he shrugs it off, ripping them out as he pushes forward. The hours pass and the man still stands. The lone warrior faces the tyrant king of his rival kingdom. “Still alive? No matter. I'll leave you as a warning to others who would oppose me." The lone warrior’s blood quickened. Here was finally the chance to end the war that started centuries ago. “I will not…let your tyranny last.” The lone warrior remarked in pain. The Tyrant scoffed at the battered warrior filled with arrows and flesh cut to the bone. "What do vermin cling to when all hope is lost? Look around you! Your kingdom is gone! All that you hold dear is gone! Your pathetic Ideals lie in shambles, where is your arrogant pride now?” said the tyrant king with cruel laughter. “You really think you can stop me? There is no greater folly than to oppose me! Your road ends here lone warrior! What do you hope to achieve? You think you can catch me with YOUR speed, you think you can strike me with YOUR power?” The lone warrior knows that he doesn’t have much time. “Enough of your verbal stool! Draw your sword, and let destiny decide!” The lone warrior holds his blade towards the tyrant king, to him, he's just another foe to be cut down. The king grits his teeth at the challenge and charges at the lone warrior. The sky grew gray and rain began to fall in torrents the lone warrior fell to his knees dropping his sword and bowed his head, staring into his hands. Looming above him, the tyrant king points his blade at the lone warrior. “What did you expect? Did you expect victory?” mocked the Tyrant. “Mark…my words…you will be defeated! The world…will reject you!” The lone warrior felt pain, beyond compare, but he knew had to ignore it, he could not fail, not when the world needed him the most. He tried to remember the teachings of his father, “My Son, never forget this: Where might protects right, giving the weak and abandoned a voice to equal the strongest of us makes us all greater. You have true faith and you have true cunning, let that blade fall without parry, and use that moment to strike a deadly blow!” The lone warrior understood his father’s teaching. He knew what he had to do. As the tyrant raised his blade and let it fall, the lone warrior summoned the last amount of energy he could muster. In one quick slash, the lone warrior sliced the head off the tyrant. The lone warrior was dying. In his last few minutes, he thought of his family: his beloved wife, who he knew would be mourning for him “Don’t go, please! I…I can’t lose you!” he knew she would say that, if she’d found him dying on the spot, “How are we to live out the rest of our lives? How are we to see the sun rise? How are we to see our son grow up, and follow his destiny as you did? You can’t die!” The lone warrior tried to laugh, but the pain was overbearing. He thought to himself as he died: “Well see the sun come up again, we will climb higher than we’ve been, we got a fire that burns within, we are stronger than we know. Fight for what you believe in and the ones you love. Never doubt yourself and don’t listen to the haters. You can do anything as long as you believe in yourself and never let your self down. Always be the one to come back up when they keep knocking you down, be the stronger one in the battle, not the one who falls. Together we stand 30 feet tall.”
