I can see that's Sebastion Inlet. Back around 1975, at least 40 people, including myself, witnessed a huge hammerhead AT LEAST 14 feet long patrolling right on the surface in the prime surfing area right next to the North jetty ( North side of the jetty), WITH MY YOUNGER BROTHER SWIMMING HIS ASS OFF TO SHORE. ( He was about 13 years old, and VERY stupid to be out in the outer breakers with NO surf board or belly board at all. ) Myself & most of the witnesses were on the North Jetty, so we all got a very good look at this monster hammerhead. It was swimming & posturing aggressively with dorsal fin above the surface the whole time, as it repeatedly swam in large circles ( as if in a "hunting/feeding mode" ), and on 2 occasions, it swam within 40 feet of my brother, as we all watched in total horror. Thank GOD he made it in ok. We all watched that shark for at least 10 minutes. YES, THERE ARE BIG HAMMERHEADS THAT FREQUENT SEBASTION INLET. ( At least back then. ) We've seen others there at times, but not as big as this one. Within a couple years of this incident, an angler fishing from the beach caught a large TIGER SHARK there. NO JOKE. The story & picture of this Tiger made all the local papers & area news stations.

love your videos Josh... I'm going fishing in Cape san blas florida this summer and they have a lot of bull sharks and bonnet heads whag would be the best bait to catch a shark 4-6 feet... I was there last year and one reel got spooled and I lost another on a 6 ft rig(broke the line above the rig)

Really hoping to get an answer from the master himself! How many yards of line would you say to have on a reel at minimum? I lost a lot of 4-5 footers on vacation from the pier from getting bit off. I have an 80 size reel with 30 pound mono that seemed to do the job, just curious what you recommend! Would it be worth it to step down to the smaller diameter of braid to fit more line? What type of reels are you guys using? I need a good ocean bank reel but I don't really want a bait caster since you can't cast them as easy as a spinning reel. I just need one with a good amount of line and a good drag system

What was that thing you were using to tie the FG knots? Do you like attaching line to leader with the FG knot more than a swivel?

He was tying a PR knot (strongest knot between braid and mono). When you have to fish a super long leader and you have to cast it, you can´t use a swivel. We had the swivel between the steel leader and the mono leader than an FG or PR knot that goes through the guides that you can cast it and have maximum breaking strength.
