This was the most epic steelhead fishing battle I have ever witnessed, let alone experienced myself. This steelhead was huge, a true giant in the 20 pound steelhead class range. We fought this fish down 2 sets of rapids and a waterfall before we put the fish in our hands. The raw emotion you see with me fighting this fish is pure gold! For the longest time now, anglers have been catching big steelhead like that. They tell their family and fishing buddies and that is it. Those tales grow longer on down the line. It is so incredible to actually see one of those tales. The excitement in your voice is something you need to see to understand. Now the whole world gets to watch. It makes me want to hit the river and see what luck I may have. Great job.
