The whole lower mainland region is destroyed for the fish except for a few smaller streams around Vancouver metro , dead Steelhead and Salmon everywhere,even on chain linked fences in the middle of farm fields

Chantrelles and califlauer's are my favorite two mushrooms too. Love picking them during deer season when hunting is slow.. such great tablefare. Especially fried with backstrap

I watched a video on Fishing With Rod about side channels built on the Vedder River. These channels are off channels as a sanctuary for fish to spawn in and seek refuge in a flood event. One statistic was it helped wild salmon with a 40% INCREASE in population. How cool would that be for WA. and Ore.!? Sounds like something Cam may have knowledge about. We should try to have that implemented out here.
