Calm down with the use of the fish lens. Your videos are of excellent quality without the excessive use of the 360 degree view. Just some constructive criticism. Keep producing those excellent videos.

We didn’t have much choice as to what camera to film with while driving as titnwas too dusty for having the main camera! We will not be using that cam very much in the videos to come 😂😇

Nêspera is Loquat, in case you don't know it. It was brought from China or Japan in the 16th century by the portuguese. I think you find it mostly in Alentejo and Algarve. It is a seasonal fruit.
@where-we-roam3 жыл бұрын
Love Loquat. In China they call it Pipa (枇杷). When I lived in China, they would make a medicine called Pipa Gao to relieve coughing. Our neighbors would make it for our kids around harvesting season. Worked great.

In the scene where your guide starts picking loquats from the tree and says "this is kind of a cultural thing", he is totally right. We even have an expression in Portuguese for stealing fruit from trees: Ir à chinchada / andar à chinchada It applies only to stealing what you can eat, not stealing to sell. It is so colloquial that it's not even in the dictionary, although you'll find the expression easily with a Google search. Actually in English there is also a verb for that to scrump: steal fruit from an orchard or garden It is a crime though, and it's on a video with 8010 views at the time of this writing...

the guide doesn't know a lot about wind mills 🤢 he should go to Estinnes, in Belgium, where the largest wind mills in the world have been installed on land; all other larger wind mills have bee installed off-shore. if he would see these giants, he would love them too, for their elegance and landscape integration more than for their performance; fortunately Portugal is installing similar windmills offshore. Then you should ask the guide why offshore windmills bring so much good news for fish and fishermen
