In nature with Canadian Rocky Mountain Bighorn Rams fighting during their rutting season. We were very lucky to witness this Epic Battle between two very gifted Bighorn Rams.

I lived in the Rockies for ten years. I saw insane tourists taking photos of these rams, and getting within 20’ of them, as they like to lick the salt used to de-ice the mountain roads (the sheep, not the tourists - lol). They had no idea of the power these creatures possess! I witnessed this exact event numerous times. What’s even more exciting is two bull elk going at it! Now THATS drama! Great clip! Just loved it!

They sure are! Elk Bulls are by far the most dangerous to anything near them, with Bighorns really only being tough on each other. Bighorn Rams may also stay in a group with the Ewes during their Rut, even when they respect a genetically gifted "Boss".
