Tip for the potatoes: make them as directed, then after you have mixed it up, throw in a bit of butter (half a tablespoon to a whole tablespoon) and a splash of milk. It helps make it creamier and more real-ish tasting! Haha

Pecan pie is a molasses treacle with pecans. It's very rich and super sweet, so you only need a sliver.

I love jalapeño crunchy Cheetos. I also love Cheetos puff corn, so light and airy. I've had two 1 pound Reese's cups one Christmas. It took me SO long to eat them! They were HUGE! In the states we have coffee flavored M&Ms. Which are my absolute favorite! My favorite goldfish are the cupcake ones. But ima have to try the hot cocoa ones now!

I live in Denver & the Hammond’s brand is definitely more well known for their candy canes & hard candies. I’ve never tried their chocolate before but I love their candy canes.

Pepperidge farm is a must have. The other really popular ones are gingerbread cookies with red sugar on top, chessmen cookies, which are like shortbread, and the Milano slices with peppermint on top. They have lots more regular cookies too. I hope you guys get to try more Pepperidge farm in the future!

My family makes pecan pie each year since it's something my dad grew up with. Our family's pie is basically a raison pie but with pecans instead of raisins. Should be a sugary custard topped with nuts. :) Very sweet. Cheers from Colorado to you both! Love watching your videos!

Pepperidge farm is an expensive brand here in the US. we can buy kits that come with meat, cheese, mustard and crackers and they are so expensive. but so good and so worth it. and inside they include an old fashion strawberry candy. my sister loves the candies so I save them for her.

Another brilliant video. It's a treat to get so many Christmas tasting ones. I love anything watermelon flavoured in American candy but really dislike anything sour. Wish we had more watermelon flavour in our UK sweets. My fave m&ms are pretzel ones and the mint ones. Had some good onion flavour cheetos from a Polish shop recently!

Omg guys another Christmas box! That’s amazing and now I’m like realizing how much different candies we have in the US. This is why I get fomo of candies and snacks lol. I love crunchy Cheetos the most and than those white cheddar ones. I do like the crunchy jalapeños flavored ones as well. I really liked the s’mores goldfish bag. I sprinkled them on my ice cream sometimes. I like most of those candies but haven’t tried the dots with vanilla. I will look for those. I love the Idahoan mash potato bag. It’s my second fave kind of mash potatoes cuz obviously making them with actual potatoes is the best way. Kate I love your sweater and Alex’s too. I can’t wait for that 4th box of Christmas candy taste test. Plus I think this has got to be the most taste testing videos you have done in one week.

Cheddar jalapeno Cheetos are my favorite!! They have just the right amount of cheese and spiciness so they are actually enjoyable! Peppermint bark Oreos are so so good!! Definitely one of my favorites! The goldfish are in the shiny foil bag because they are sweet flavors. My favorite are the vanilla cupcake that we have here in America and those are in a blue shiny bag! I didn't know that Starburst did jellybeans for Christmas!!! I love their jelly beans, so I'll have to look for them!!!!

For the sweet goldfish you need to try the S'mores ones. It is the chocolate fish and marshmallow like the hot cocoa ones but with an added Graham flavored fish. They are my favorite. Also the vanilla cupcake goldfish!

Pecan pie, the filling is sugar, corn syrup, egg and butter, and the pecans are mixed in, and they float to the top as it cooks. Then the filling becomes sort of a gel.

It is so strange 'cause here on Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day lunch we have completely different kind of food! On Christmas Eve we eat no meat and on Christmas day in my city is the perfect day to make anolini (they are like tortellini, made with meat filling and cooked in beef broth)! Hello, Kate and Alex, Hammonds is not Target's own brand, it is a company in Denver, Colorado that mostly makes candy canes in many flavors. They did start making the chocolates too and a few other items, but their main product is the candy canes in just about any flavor you can thing of. They have free tours every day where they give you the history of the company and then you get to go back and watch them make the candy. Of course they are behind glass but it is very interesting to watch. At the end of the tour, everyone is given a free candy cane and they are the bigger ones, about 8 or 9 inches long. I have taken my granddaughters and they loved it! We are still working our way through the Christmas box and so far my favorite are the Crunchie bars and the Quality Street chocolates. We really don't have anything here that is close to the Crunchie bar. My least favorite so far was actually the Prawn Cocktail crisps. To me they tasted more like ketchup with a hint of prawn at the end.

I've never heard of someone calling themselves lazy trash, I just call my lazy but that's different 😊 Alex barking/howling, top notch, nailed it! I'm not a fan of pecan pie, so I also can't tell you if it tasted like it either lol. I absolutely LOVE the plastic shiny bags, although the plastic is not good. I don't like the paper bag, kinda crawls my blood. Omg, I just got these from Target about a month ago, so good! My favorite Jelly Belly is the blueberry! I love Starburst jelly beans. Being a baker as well, I am OBSESSED with the Wilton baking accessories. I love Lisa Lefteye Lopez,(she was the rapper in the group) she was my favorite member from the girl group, TLC.

My favorite Cheetos of late are the flaming hot puffs.....yum although I have never had the white cheddar and have never seen them they must be holiday only.. The only jelly beans I will eat are the starburst I just love them. Such a big box it was almost too much.... by the way Kate Lisa “left eye” Lopez was a member of the pop group TLC who sang the popular song “waterfalls” and she died in a car accident many years ago.
