Love your quick release techniques! Our salmon pop needs all the help it can get. But bro. Taking a females eggs? I understand why u want them.. but our salmon is facing enough probs. Many stream with once abundant Chum populations are suffering.

I am planning to start fishing later this year, and I thought that Slamon can be a good start. I'm from BC too, can you keep the salmons you caught? I was just curious cause I saw that you released all of them. Thanks

Yeah you can keep them but we already had a freezers full with other salmon and fish so we just stuck to catch and release

Thx for the video. You mentioned to be 6"-12" off the bottom. How do you calculate that with your floats/weights etc?

It takes a couple cast to figure it out.. start deep and if your hitting bottom move your bobber down 6 inches, and keep doing that until your jig is not hitting bottom once that is complete you should be just off bottom, and in the juice zone haha
