Join us on our first (cheaters) overland route through two awesome Colorado offroad trails, Pearl Pass and Taylor Passthrough the Sawatch Mountain range near the town of Aspen and Crested Butte!
On this journey we base camp at the start of Taylor pass where we journey towards Aspen, Colorado to reach Pearl Pass which takes you on a 6 hour epic tour through some of the best scenery Colorado has to offer.

I finally figured out how to watch these on my 65 inch in the bedroom Mileah and I caught up on several she was amazed at the views. And I gotta tell you it's so nice to watch on the big screen instead of being in the passenger seat with death 7 inches away. Love the shows and love doing it live even more. At my age a quick death is preferable anyway. Love the shows Dad

We had a 4runner, no hate at all. But i do know what they are capable of and what limits they have. If he took our same line there would have been all kinds of crazy wheel lift. His was on a long travel kit as well. It absolutly shows how no matter the vehicle the wrong line (like ours) can make a huge difference. But without the long travel kit he had, he probably would have scrapped the whole way down. We saw a big group of tacos and FJs on the trail that day, but they all king long travel setups.

Great photography, good pacing. Loved the information you provide. My only gripe, and the reason I decided to comment: off-roaders complaining about rocky roads…. 🤦🏼

Haha I appreciate your comment! And i absolutly know what youre saying. It sounds stupid, but there are some parts that just suck ass and after an hour of the same bumpy section it gets to be a little much. But youre absolutly right.

Thanks for filming. We were scheduled to be there first week in August but trails were still closed. We had also scheduled Schofield Pass...thing. we re-routed to Moab instead.

About to pull the trigger and order a magnusun supercharger! really need the added HP for towing my 5k travel trailer! The 6 cylinder is fine 80% of the time but the big hills brings it to a crawl@@barelymadeit
