Perfectly said! I love them both equally. Larry did give me chest crunching laughs, though. He's the one I want to see when I have the kind of congestion that only the deepest laughter can loosen. I think it's because his material was newer to me. I used to watch him on Comedy Central back in the day, and now he has new material, but it was like catching up with an old friend. I frequently watch Jim, and his material is not new to me, yet still highly entertaining. A good comedian to me never gets old. You can hear the same material hundreds of times and still snicker. Both Jim and Larry have this art down pat.

Really? I would consider Larry a top comedian. Constant laughter happens every time I watch him. I am not even sure if Jim's jokes have made me laugh yet. I have seen multiple sets and he did not seem that funny at all. In many ways Jim seems like a copycat. I have heard countless comedians that sound so much like him on stage. Larry on the other hand is a unique high quality comedian. It is a bad match up when a top performer is facing off against someone who is a boring entertainer. Peoples dogs make me laugh more than Jim.
