When I was 14 my mother and sister and I lived in Boulder, Colorado, behind a Dunkin' Donuts, and at night my mother would make me crawl in to the dumpster to retrieve the bags of day old donuts and munchkins. And..., my father was the manager of a Burger King in New Mexico and would bring home the old burgers and fries before they were about to go in the trash.
