Soooooooooo much flanking, no front line. You're 100% right: New SLs just don't fill gaps and maintain the front line. Front line/meatgrind isn't sexy, but it's necessary against a team that's anywhere near competent. Amazing work getting up those garries and communicating with your Timmy SLs: you are a patient man, and always love the content, brother.

Played this exact set up a few weeks ago. I was the defensive SL on orchard. They tried to keep a Garry in that front door the entire match and we kept pushing them out. Eventually they had to go for far out garries north and south which spread them out and made them have to cross those fields. We remained 3-2 the entire match fighting for the midpoint. Started rotating my guys off to offense the closer we got to the finish. 3 minutes left we all deployed on offense and pushed our way in winning it in the last minute. Very satisfying finish.

i’m getting to a point where i’m dropping 30-50 kills as infantry if my team sets up good outposts / garry’s it usually starts at the top if the command is some clueless lvl 30 dropping random supplies behind enemy lines before he gets his blue line ones up good luck 😅

Question. When using the supply truck for blue garrisons would you think it’s a smart move to disassemble the Garry to use up all those supplies so the enemy can’t see that giant box sitting out? Since if they do find the Garry they’ll most likely destroy those supplies anyways. Let me know what you think

I’ve done it but it’s a double edged sword because they don’t always find the sups and if they don’t, you can easily re-establish the garrison. The other thing to consider is that the other 100 sups can also be used for things like nodes, repair stations etc. so there are pros and cons.

In his server they never do. His server sometimes purposely sets the teams in a fashion oriented to get clips for views. His people literally farm noobs and unsuspecting and unfortunate HLL veterans so they can get clicks online.

No, blueberries are bad and they are everywhere. You can try and wake everyone up every match, or play to your team strengths. Guide the blueberries when you want them to be, don't expect them to pull a good flank or make garries for you, give them the path and point them forward

Anyways, with that being said I like your command style and have taken some mental notes on certain phrases and little ideas you convey to get through to your Squad Leads. The ROTN server is absolutely atrocious to play these days. All of the admins and active discord members get on one team to farm new players and unfortunate oblivious veterans in order to make clips for the internet and display a facade of skill…. I spent 7 hours straight on this server and had the highest points in each category and over those 7 hours not a single victory. And that was just one day for an example… This small community is seriously brainwashed and hidden from the truth. I will never waste time on this server again. Angelo has the nerve to talk about importance of team play and communication but then sets his servers up and have his goons silence anyone that tries to discipline or punish the noobs for lack of lesson retention and pure learning incapability after having plenty of gameplay time to learn the basics or give some respect to listen to the SL’s…. Funny how the servers with the most rules always have the most noobs and the worst gameplay experiences.

I usually like the server, though lately it's very hard to enjoy the game on it. I played a few days ago, no comms, no common goal, ignoring everything I said that was obviously what we needed to win and after getting tired of talking and not getting a response or action I went "Fine I can't play in this server" and went to find another for the day. Of course someone responds that time just to mess with me. Today I hop on again and we're in the same situation..we keeping hitting our heads against the wall and noone is listening to my obvious suggestions. Commander kept making garries 300 meters apart while we had no map control and never responded when I called him out. Selective communication in this game is very bad, you can't work as a team if you only care to do what you'd do anyways, you have to listen and do something you wouldn't do because it's what your team needs. Long story short the only time people try to address my suggestions is to dismiss them by saying "Didn't you say you wouldn't play here again?". Of course it was the same guy who selectively responded to make fun of last time. The only sign of reason was in the end after people were patting themselves in the back for playing as awful as they did saying we did our best and stuff and a guy goes on to say that "being honest we fumbled the bag" Is that not obvious to the rest of the server? Why is saying it offensive and you go nuts? It's freaking reality it's a mil sim game and it require comms, planning, having common objectives and playing with the team...how are you gonna do that if you're told you did good every time when ignoring the map, the team, coms, logic, game mechanics...hell let loose community has become delusional and I can definitely see that a lot in rotn. Idk about the staff and admins, but the community is nothing special right now from my experience at lest.

So multiple things here. "All the admins and active discord members get on one team to farm new players" not only is this patently false its kind of cringe you make this accusation when you are welcome to watch my vods on Twitch of our community actively balancing matches every match or so. We have dedicated channels in our discord for this as well under the ROTN regular role, and we do this in our ROTN community/team channel as well. Specifically in this video we are literally playing against some of the best HLL shooters in the game. If you don't have respect for those TL comp players, and other regulars on the other team you must have some over inflated ego about your own skills... So you can go check out the vods if you want but I'm not going to justify myself or community beyond that because your comment is ridiculous and clearly you are ignorant of what actually goes on in our community. Also saying people are brainwashed is pretty cringe after calling all the other veterans you are playing with because you somehow in 7 hours couldn't win once and you some how "had the highest points in each category", ok bub sure you're the next top comp recruit. I would love to see evidence of us setting up easy matches that would be real cute to see. Your comment about trying to "discipline the noobs" is kind of strange and may be an insight to your own toxicity in game. The ideal of the server is to have as many 1 hour + matches as possible, to do this you need to have at the very least a educated player base, so I took the time to actually make multiple guides in our discord to help all players understand the game better and to perform better as players in this FPS game. That's on top of me doing this live on Twitch as well, all day long. Listen I don't know who you are and I'm sorry if you had some bad experience one day on our server but hey dude it HLL that's going to happen from time to time man. Take a break, reassess, relearn some stuff and comeback at it another time. Elsewise your rant stinks of skill issue. Anyone reading this if you are a level 25-150 player and you're looking to learn more about the game play with experienced player and developing players join our discord and we are very happy to answer any questions, show you the ropes, teach you things that other communities might not bother to teach you. @@PotDylan So today being Saturday matches on HLL are usually worse, lots of no mic casuals and the such. You are always welcome to hop to other servers if you find our server does not have the communication you need at that moment. but to make a blanket statement like all of a sudden there's no communication going on is just subjective to your experience then and shouldn't be taken as the new status quo, they'll always be off days on any servers. Also I'm not sure who you're calling ROTN because just because someone is on our server does not make them part of ROTN. I'm also confused about your 300m garry remark, garrisons need to be at least 200 meters apart at a minimum so them being 300 meters apart is not crazy...

@@AngeloDeLaMorte_tv Yeah you're right about pretty much everything, I've played with you a few times lately wasn't trying to push a narrative or anything, just talking about my experience. What I meant by the garrison thing is that the team had no map control, to the point where the whole team was for the most part in only one place at a time, whenever managed to extend our control and gain ground I'd try to make a garrison as close as possible to the one we had already. Usually I'd be disrupted by a commander's garrison that would not be using space efficiently and in the end because of our lack of control we could never maintain an open line between our two garrisons for long and thus losing one or both garries. It's alright if it happens once or twice...but when you are given feedback and suggestions as to how you'd fix that there is no excuse. The locations he made them were the same every time and there was nothing special about them, in fact some of them were very exposed.

Especificaly the players I've played with, but that's just how I feel. Lately I've just not seen the comms and teamwork I'm used to. Yet again, as you said, it just could be a bump, I'm not really complaining, was just siting my experience as a response to the original comment.
