Not enough alcohol to be a real feast, there would have to be crates of wine and beer for it to be so, also probably alot more open fires to warm yourself in and more comfortable chairs IMHO

Although you didn't use any Filipino dish it's still great to see you guys use one of the iconic ways Filipinos dine! For those who do not know "kamayan style" originated from the Philippines and it translates to hands on or using hands and fingers. You basically eat without utensils or plates, and you just grab what you want to eat directly on that table and the banana leaves in front of you is your plate. This is a very intimate way of eating. Typically, you would only do this with very VERY close friends and family in your household. You really don't want to do this with other people as you are using your hands to eat and the food, which you are touching and sharing, which are being eaten by others on the table. But I like the way you adapted it to make it possible to share with everyone!! This is Awesome!!

Thanks, Taku, for another epic food episode. Whenever I go shrimping in the hood canal off of Broad Spit and I set the pots, run into the beach, collect limits of clams and oysters and then fish for sand dabs for fish tacos I think of you and your encouragement. It's a lot of work but your energy and enthusiasm keeps me wanting to do it again.

Such a lovely fusion!! "kamayan" means "hands" you are suppose to eat with hands. the serving presentation is "boodle fight". which means you are suppose to eat on the long table together with your friends (communal eating) . Use the banana leaves in front of you as a plate. Anyhow you are doing good!!

Always felt so relaxed when I watched your show and I always learnt some ways of cooking from you. Whenever you cooked, it was always done outside in the nature which I think the best gift from God. Besides, the cooking was never messy like some other chefs' which did not irritate me when I was watching. Thanks a lot for this kinda great show always, Taku and please show us more and more and more............

I actually got air sick once in my 1200+ hours of flight time in the back of a Blackhawk as the crewchief. It was night flight under night vision goggles and I was training to call sling loads looking through the 2'x2' hole the hook is in. After that never got sick again. Key is deff to keep your head on a swivel. Love your videos and idk why but your sea sick reminded me of my night of almost blowing chunks on a flight.
