I'm Overseas Kashmiri Pakistani living in Manchester UK. Thanks for promoting soft and real image of Pakistan all over the world. Such a beautiful video. Gilgit Baltistan are the parts of Jammu & Kashmir , which is disputed area. India has promised to give the right of self determination to the Kashmiri people in United Nations many times but now they aren't ready for this. Majority of the Kashmiri people are consider themselves as a Pakistani.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked the video 🤗 I had a great experience in Pakistan and I'm just being honest about it, about the things I liked, loved, disliked and was surprised about. I also found Pakistan to be a gorgeous and fascinating country! The nature is spectacular but the culture and history is fascinating too As for India / Kashmir, thanks for your insight, it's really helpful and interesting to see how different people feel about the issue. As someone who has no stakes in the conflict tho, I limit myself to stating factual information, not my own opinions. I mention it because I think it's important but I also don't think it's appropriate for me to get into it. Anyways, thanks for liking the video 😊

Amazing! Some of the landscapes reminded me of the Manchurian grassland. Have you ever experienced mountain sickness before? Regarding the tents in the area, I have two possible explanations: Possible Explanation 1: Reselling by Beneficiaries - The population in need, who received the tents, might have sold them in the open market for money, which isn't uncommon. Possible Explanation 2: Unauthorized Reselling by Staff or Affiliates - Some staff members, affiliates, implementing partner or influential individuals might have sold the tents on the black market, which is also not uncommon.
@lauraabornsteinАй бұрын
Thanks! I've never been to Manchuria but I imagine Deosai looks very similar to a lot of places in Central Asia. I thought it must look similar to Mongolia or Tibet. I've never experienced fulm blown mountain sickness, just what I explained in this video. And thanks for the explanation! I imagine it must have something to do with reselling to, but still hesitated because I know it's not allowed

I liked this straight , simple video with good information. I don't know who put up those tents of UNHCR there because what I know there is nothing to do with refugees or any unrest in that area. Probably these tents are here because China has been part of development of infrastructure in Northern parts of Pakistan. This area is part of Pakistan and is not part of Kashmir region that India claims. And what you said in video that "India claims this region", India claims whole of Pakistan, Bangladesh and part of Afghanistan. Don't take baseless Indian claims seriously. BTW, Pakistan claims part of Kashmir that is under Indian control 😊
@lauraabornsteinАй бұрын
Thanks! I'm glad you like the video 🤗 That's actually a good suggestion and I thought of that too, but technically UNHCR tents are supposed to be used only in situations of emergency, not development projects. However, someone else suggested they might have been used for natural disasters in the area, which makes much more sense, or that they were illegally resold. As for my comment that this area is claimed by India, as far as I know they claim the areas of Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir, and India has some territorial disputes with China as well, I don't know anything about Bangladesh. And I am aware that Pakistan claims Indian controlled Kashmir. Just bear in mind that I have no stakes in this dispute and I only speak the facts as I know them, never sharing my own opinions or promoting disrespect towards the other side. Even though the issue comes up constantly because it is such a crucial part of the region's history, it's impossible to mention it and to please everyone by what I say. It is a very difficult topic to talk about. Just know that when I talk about this issue or mention it, my goal is to stay neutral and respectful to everyonem
