I actually did know that the Dutch turned what were purple carrots originally orange to honor the Duke of Orange. However I hadn't ever heard of Trash in the Camp before and now I'm interested? If you want to hear a fantastic cover of Trashin' the Camp, I'd highly recommend looking up Sam Robson's version. He's another solo-acapella guy like Peter Hollens but has the most distinct sounds you'll hear from anyone in this line of business.
