Cool movie ! :) An example of a great time with the whole family ! Pets have as much entertainment, as the host will provide. In addition - to build a house like that - you have to think and draw, and measure something, and cut something... This is a good gymnastics for the mind and body. :) In addition, these materials are biodegradable. :)

This is GENIUS! What talents you both are, and what a perfect gift for the kitties (all cats love cardboard boxes--it's etched in stone somewhere). It turned out beautifully--my faves are the crumpled paper for icing, the paper plates for snow on the roof, and the repurposed plastic Easter egg halves for the gumdrops. Brilliant, and Cole and Marmalade seem to have loved it from the beginning (love how they supurrvised the entire process!)

I have seen less complicated IKEA furniture builds. And if I tried this, I would have cat hair in the hot glue, be fending kitties away from the box cutter constantly, and end up with a dilapidated structure that looked a lot like a 4 year old built it in the dark. Kudos to you, Chris and Jess, for your excellent skills in construction and decor!

My cats always get excite when there's treats for them and they jump really high to catch 'em. In fact, one time when the Dream Traveller felt really upset when his grandpa died, he fired a wind bullet at a patch of grass and uncovered some snowflake treats. He called Owlwin's named and Owlwin chirruped at the sound of her own name, which showed that she was ready to jump to catch the treats. The Dream Traveller threw the treats sky-high and Owlwin jumped to catch the treats and when she caught the last treat, she brought an Icicle Flurry (one of the moves Princess Icesis can use) crashing down on Joka's ship.

Love the names of your cats. My mum is a servant to 4cats. Billy, Ernie, Monty and Rosie. Billy and Ernie were rescued together because they couldn't split them up. Monty was a foster fail and Rosie was there first rescue.

Yeap, you're right, this Gingerbread House is epic... Cole is like: "Look, Mom & Dad, Imma indulge you for a bit, but Imma chill in my sleigh" while Marmie is about to loose his ish... He can hardly believe it, shocked I tell you -- LOL! BTW, Marmie's butt wiggle is becoming as legendary as his "mind blown" face. Cole (at 59 seconds) says "I LIKE THIS BOX TO LAY ON MOM. Why make a House with it? Marmalade will only destroy the house anyway." Marmalade's reply (at 1:16_ is "Oh it's so destroyed."
