I saw this strat but with a Flamigo with Costar ability so it copied the +2 in all stats when it gets sent in. Way OP and might be a fun strat for a flamigo sweep if you havent already

PRO TIP: Use Toxic Orb instead of Flame Orb. That way, the damage on Tatsugiri will stack up faster, in case you don't manage to get it to 1 HP on turn one. Also, Costar Flamigo is a nice addition. That strategy actually became very popular in VGC in the last week, but then Prankster Haze Murkrow came along and ruined it. If anyone wants to use Tatsugiri+Dondozo in competitive or casual battles, make sure to have a plan to deal with Murkrow!

Toxic Orb just made it a tad more consistent, because of reasons. But of course, we're not looking for consistency in here, we're here for funny salty shennenigans, and I wouldn't change the way you delivered it at the end with Sap Sipper, it was trully epic lol

I think the bigger pro tip is to keep the Tatsugiri (at Lv1 if possible) w/ 0 HP/Def/SpD IVs and just use a stronger Exploder like a Sash Drifblim (who's conveniently immune to Fake Out) or a Sturdy Garganaci w/ Covert Cloak. That's when it really doesn't matter which Orb you use.

Try using a level 1 tatsugiri with black sludge and another poke with u turn or flip turn, that way you can have both boosted dodonzo and another poke on turn 2, sacrificing only tatsugiri

I'm never sure how to build Dondozo. The sweeping set seems obvious but for Doubles I'm not sure if I should build it more tanky or rely on the stat boosts to be enough to get me by? I built my shiny one to be a sweeper and was debating on having another as a tank and build its Attack with Order up instead of investing in it with EVs but that's a lot of experimentation and time for something I'm unsure of. Any thoughts?

I'm planning on making one once I get a shiny and I think I'm going to go HP and ATK for EVs and then rely on Order Up for extra speed if needed. If +2 100 base attack isn't enough to take something out then so be it lol

Usually if a Pokémon has a massive stat that is being buffed, I don't feel I need to invest in it fully or at all, i.e. Belly Drum for certain Pokémon. Those stats can be put else where to ensure survival, or at least I'd imagine so in theory
