Not trying to be a naysayer, I love the project. However that angle brace isn't doing anything. It cannot transfer the load like that, the bottom screws will fail due to the angular forces. If you don't believe me remove all the screws that attach the angle brace to the roof beam. Then hang your body weight on the angle brace. If it cant hold your body weight, it cant handle much snow load. Although not ideal it would be stronger if you just tied the two roof beams together. Hammering a 2x4 flat across the 2 roof beams would not only be much stronger but also give you more head room.

I agree, im loving this project and also recommend revisiting that center beam support. Its going to save you alot of headaches down the river, literally 😂. Great work all around, looking forward to the finished product!

That center beam gives me such anxiety haha....scabs on each side will help, I would make them as wide as possible. Perhaps further down the road a plated material could be used

Looking AMAZING and I always look forward to updates. My buddy and I just purchased an old paddle boat (from an amusement park) that we are going to fix up and use for duck hunting. Our first thing will be to strip it down, repair any holes (fiberglass) , lights and continue adjusting until we get it to our needs. Best of luck to you guys!!!

Ain't no way I'd set foot on that death trap. Get a proper marine survey before you do anything else to that anchor.
