Yes, there is musky in lakes evergreen . They are not easily caught. There are a good white bass in there as well as walleye

Caught a lot of good white bass. Had an excellent catch/cook with them. It's becoming one of my favorite places to go camping/fishing

Evergreen isn’t bad at all. Got a nice 48” musky out of there couple years ago. Just gotta find em. Great video! Gonna need to link up some time and fish together!

@@homegrowncatch my biggest musky was a dink in comparison: 32" on the Des Plaines River by Joliet. Definitely becoming my favorite place to fish. That would be awesome, would enjoy catching fish with you anytime. Follow me on Instagram if you want, I sometimes post where I'm at

by chance how on earth did you catch that? I've only ever seen my dad catch a muskie and it was literally like 8 inches long.

I was targeting bass along a weed line with a chatterbait. Thought I had hooked a carp or large drum until it jumped out of the water.

What kind of rig are you throwing
@tyghtlinesАй бұрын
@@timdavis3532 I call it a Nokyo Rig. It's a custom bait: take a VMC 2 Tokyo Rig and cut about 90% of the wire that holds your weight off. Then put your weight on close at you can, but still free swinging, to the split ring. Thread your ned bait on. It'll stand up just like a ned rig but since it's a light flipping hook, you can fish it totally weedless through rock, laydowns, grass. The best part is, you throw it on your jig rod (in my case a 7.2 medium heavy fast with a 8:3:1 baitcaster. Happy fishing and tight lines!
