@Kris Olson , you have the replies disabled to I have to reply like this in hope you will read it. Probably not but what you said is a matter of personal opinion and I thank you for giving me yours. The thing is though, being a fan of TSFH and Dragon Rider being one of the inspirations for this song of mine I didn't wanted people to totally throw at me hate comments saying that I was trying to copy this or that song. It's so hard to be original and creative with music nowadays because there's soooo much music always being created, every single day. I tried to be the most creative I could with this track. Maybe if I did as you were saying in your comment there would be people complaining about how short it was. Doesn't matter how good your work is, it will never be perfect because it can never please everyone . Thank you for watching.

Do you think there's a limit on how many different melodies it's possible to create if one classifies a melody as being 16 beats long? Or is there a different defined length for a melody?
@BrunuhVille9 жыл бұрын
Mattias Westby The number of combinations you can create with the number of chords and notes existent is not endless, it's finite . Plus not all chords combine well with each other in the same progression. The KZbin channel Vsauce has a good video explaining if we will ever run out of new music and they even calculate the number of possible different melodies you can create. But this is all very subjective. There is indeed a lot of music that sounds the same but in music there's other important aspects that can make a song unique such as technique, emotion, dynamics , etc.
@DarksiderDarmoset9 жыл бұрын
Why bother even replying to his comment? KZbin is setup so that comments that receive responses bubble up to the top, while those who don't sink to the bottom. If he has replies disabled, no one would ever see his comment. Sure, it does sound reminiscent of TSFH's Dragon Rider, but is that really an issue? Art is not conjured up from nothing, it is a conglomeration of what we have experienced along with the ideas we form. It is an expression of these ideas, and thus, nothing is completely original in this sense. The song is almost like Dragon Rider in terms of its upbeat nature, yet, it seems to utilize more instruments and has periods of which it picks up speed and slows down. It's like a combination of The Song of the Dragonborn and Dragon Rider.

***** It's true that this chord progression is totally overused but yeah it's hard to be creative when you make so many tracks. It was pretty good.

From forgotten cities, who's story is gone Heroes have fallen, a beast of the ancient storm. Its claws and its teeth, sharp like a spear Tamed by a myth whose name none can hear Queen of the skies, now hear my call Your subject has caused legend to fall Dragon empress, lord of the fire The beast has caused pain and a deathly desire The rider of wind, she called on her son The killer of children and women beyond He twisted and turned, but he could not prevail His death by her hands, now crying she stands Queen of the skies, who gently weeps As her great monster lays dead at her feet The dragon empress, in the moon she sits As a hero she became legend, and from legend a myth.

I absolutely love this song, especially the effect of the call and response between the dragon and his mistress. You paint a vivid picture of a battle, the Empress being cornered and calling for hwr companion. Then, when all hope seems lost, he answers and rescues her, crushing her enemies and taking her into the sky. Beautiful.

The story I imagined while listening 😊 Beginning - 2:48 : A girl and her dragon are on the run from some warriors. 2:48 - 3:02 : The girl jumps on the dragon but soon he gets shot and starts hurtling down to the ground, trying to avoid the mountains. Before the impact, the girl jumps off his back to avoid getting crushed and makes a safe landing in the deep snow or trees at the feet of the giant mountains. 3:06 - end : She comes up to her dying dragon. 3:34 : Before passing away, he says something softly to her, maybe trying to calm her. ~ Edit: 😅 Woah! This comment exists?! Em... thanks for the likes ya'll! I also fixed it and hopefully made it easier to read and understand.

And out from nowhere i came with me own dragon and slaughtered all those human except for the girl and her dying dragon. We came back to the dying dragon and the girl. The girl herself badly injured but surviving. Different story to her dragon. Me dragon and the girl’s dragon stared each other and nodded as mutual understanding that the latter was at the end of its journey. The girl gave her dragon last hug on its head before it closed its eyes and ended its last breath. Rest now almight dragon, you have fulfilled your destiny.

Love your compositions here @BrunuhVille and this piece as well as your dance of the Dragon gave me a non stop feeling of riding something untamed, something that only gave permission to be part of her adventure. The way it starts in this one as a louder combative piece and mid way, going to a beautiful melody to boot the bit, forming a solid connection with the beast. I am sorry if it seems abstract, sometimes let imagination get the better of me with music. Keep up the AWESOME work.

I was the one who was looked up to by most, shunned by some, hated by others.They call me the Dragon Empress. I fight in wars and use my Dragon peoples to aide me in the battles. I wear my scars with pride, knowing that they make me who I am. Cut by blade, talon and claw alike, I show them as trophies of my endeavors. I ran down a snowy slope, catching up with my dragon(the one in the picture). As I reach the end, I jump, falling through the air, my armor weighing me down tremendously, causing me to fall faster. "Zydran!" I shouted my dragon's name into the abyss of space between us. She swept under me by pulling her wings against her body, then unfurling them quickly to catch me. My feet landed perfectly on her back, and I held on to her horns for balance as we rode towards the sounds of fighting below.

Worth the wait! I love how it turned out. Rather than a woman controlling a dragon, the name and sound make me think of a person waging an intense fight against a gigantic dragon: a matriarch of a group. Once the fight ends, and the dragon is dying (03:02), the victor feels guilt that he/she's destroyed an animal so rare, knowing the likes of her will never be seen again.

I have never commented on your work, ever since I discovered your channel a couple of months ago. Your music is great, and I appreciate you trying to mold your own style. This track is very haunting in it's own unique way, but also inspiring in a sense. The instrumentation itself is great, and I like that the drums aren't overpowering, although I think the electronic type of drums didn't really fit the mood of the track, they were kind of throwing me off balance. I know I am going to get slack for this but TSFH does it really well, mixing electronic stuff with orchestral. This can be especially heard in Thomas Bergersens Amaria Album, on his track Riders. Overall I think your piece stands out from the common soundtrack music coming out today, and has it's own charm. I appreciate that. Keep going my friend, music is an expression of your inner self, and your dreams and desires.

Ah okay then, I guess then the drum choice could be better, like maybe a bit less dry, and a bit more wet, with round robin reverb, so they stay a bit in the back of the orchestra. Or the whole sample could be replaced. Which samples were these?

Out of the rages of wars now unknown, From the dismal black ashes, a legend has grown. They called the girl Empress, the queen of the skies, Supreme queen of dragons, and on dragons she flies, Queen of the fire and mistress of all, Obedient to none but the fire beast’s call. As the fire it awakens, it scorches the lands, And could prove destructive, if in the wrong hands, But the Empress was called on to combat this power, And so has befallen her own darkest hour, For she has been charged with the keeping of peace, So wars with the dragons and humans could cease. As the two beings circled, as the legend it goes, They once were in friendship, but now were as foes, As the dragon attacked her, and it ended her life, Thus plummeting both worlds again into strife. The wars raged within her; the past caused her pain; She knew peace was needed, but she'd struggle in vain; As the last dragon bellowed its pain to the skies, The ghost Empress watched it, its grief in her eyes. Please don't copy this poem ... if you do, give credit to me ... Brilliant job, Brunuhville, for posting such a brilliant song! I love to imagine I am a large beastly dragon on a dangerous quest to save my loved ones from an evil force when I listen to some of your music. It really inspires me and helps me write too- :)

I accidentaly discovered you channel and am amazed by your music. Big fan of tsfh and audiomachine and the first part of the track was really simillar to dragon riders from tsfh and thats why I was happy to hear elements of my favourite songs. Ill definetely check out your other tracks, after long searches at last another channel I can listen to epic frequently, thanks.

Yess, Queen!! Looks to me like she's having a practice run with her scaly friend ❤ and r getting ready to leave their home for an assignment. Also this score is a mixture of inspirational (beginning to middle) and haunting (middle to end).

Was listening to a massive mix of artists around 6 hours long and halfway through a match on league I had to pause it (By pause I mean pause the music so I could see who this was by). This song came on and I am now going to be buying this album when my pay comes through. Jaw dropped at how epic this whole thing made me feel, got a kill right on 1:25 - 1:35 that transition sold me. Take my money.

I'm also a great fan of you and of TSFH, and though it sounds a bit similar, it doesn't mean, that it is a copy at all. I can imagine how hard it must be to create so many epic songs, so I take off my hat to you for all the awesome work. Your music encourages me everytime. :>

Thank you for this piece of art, just what I needed to finish a scene I was writing in my screenplay. A scene that involved, wouldn't you know, a dragon.

This song made subscribe. AND this song made me entirely re-do one of my characters on Elder Scrolls Online (ps4, NA Server) into an Elven female Dragon Empress named Ashaa
