SE tas drifting on light wind hook split shot casting back down the drift , orange peel for bait about the size of the end of my thumb, flathead love the colour orange, 20 min fishing, two hours cleaning, in a little place called Madura, late 80s . Love your show mell ! Jaffa cheers

Great video, Mel! Would you believe I have been to that very spot a number of times and all I've ever caught was yakkas! And there you are pulling out flattie after flattie - awesome. Love the videos you’ve got some top info in these longer style clips especially for beginner locals kudos for taking the time to film your fishing adventures for us 👍 was just curious is it ever possible to get squid from the shore in Kurnell ? Want to get stuck into some kingies and live yakkas and squid seem to be the way to go. Getting my boat this year I can’t bloody wait 😂

Hey Mark thanks! I’m glad you enjoy watching and thanks for commenting. Of course you can get squid from the land, personally I have never done it and am not really the right person to ask, but I see people squidding there all the time. A place I can recommend is Malabar. East of the pool onwards all the way to the heads you can certainly get squid 🦑 congrats on the boat!
