Do the planes have AC? If not that uniform looks very uncomfortable in 100 degree heat. Seems like you should be able to wear shorts.

The majority of days in Florida are not 100 degrees. There are air vents that blow air into the planes, and the temperature drops as the plane ascends.

We have a lot to offer at Epic - new aircraft with G1000 cockpits, great weather for frequent flying, an open-door policy with our chief pilot, on-site maintenance, a supportive environment, short wait times to fly, and more. We do encourage you to research flight schools to choose the one that is best for you!

Epic Flight Academy do you recommend getting a 4 year degree in something aviation related before going to flight school?

@@bohull4400 This is a personal decision as well. A college degree is not required by many commercial airlines. However, some airlines either require a degree or assign hiring preference to pilots who have earned a degree. We have partnered with Daytona State College to accept your flight training hours as college credit should you wish to earn a degree while attending flight school at Epic. Many pilots choose to do this to enhance their career options, and some do it in case they ever lose their medical and need to find alternative employment.
