Hey, about what you said about needing to work on endurance. Last year i started to ride more races, all 2 hour ones. I rode about 5 or 6 of them. And i could tell that my endurance improved massively, even from just a couple races spread out through the year. Also my 3 km times dropped significantly at school. As a result of that, i now try to ride for as long as i can when training enduro. It really helps your fluidity to ride continously. I just stop when i need to take a quick 10-30 second breather. And if i really get fatigued i stop in the pits for a few minutes and then set off again. I just make sure to stop when i start making serious mistakes like overshooting turns and things like that. Not sure if this applies to everyone as im only 15, but it would be awesome if you can get anything out of this.

Hey thanks for the Tips. My situation is im an old fart of 31. When I was in high school I set the track record for mile. Sense then I never really exercised. Im not over weight, just no conditioning. So Im hoping to get back in shape. And you're right, gota get out as much as possible.

It’s best to put room temperature water. You don’t want to put cold water because your body needs to warm it up before your body can use it.

Lol great vid!! First rule to help your endurance.. I think you know where I’m gonna with this... LAY OFF THE MOUNTAIN DEW!!!! Also which GoPro you using? I have GoPro hero 4 black and can only get like a little over an hour of recording at 1080p... I NEVER can complete an entire race on a battery

Great job! But don't use Gatorade almost as bad as Mountain Dew!. Use specialty products designed for endurance athletes. I have been using EnduroMax by MaxMuscle and love it. I have also tried Tailwind Nutrition's Caffeinated Endurance Fuel which is also good and comes in more flavors. These really do help md from cramping and keep my energy levels up and I recover better than plain water. Worth a try!

I think you need to stand up more when you are riding. Its smoother and you can take adventage of your legs as suspension. Often bether balance. Have fun!

Hi!!! Just wondering if you are using yellow or red spring? Tnx
@GladiusJon6 жыл бұрын
Im using the yellow for the races, and red for regular trail days.
@tonner9876 жыл бұрын
Gladius Jon , Tnx, Why is that sir? red is too much to handle or too much effort just to be in the right place? Tnx
@GladiusJon6 жыл бұрын
Richie Rich Tan Yes exactly. The red is an animal, and in a race I get too tired to controll it. In the future when my fitness levels are higher ill probably stick with red only.

Eat more banana's. I would down two or three before every ride. The potassium neutralizes the acid your muscles produce. Sugar ANYTHING is the worst thing you could do, absolute zero sugar.

Well done good race, you just have to realise you have a faster pace when your not following faster riders. As soon as you have someone to follow you up your pace so you know its in there. Work on some fitness as those races are a killer late on ......... great video
