I'm still waiting to see you two make a doll out of the doll pieces that you have found. Also want a little humor? When both of you picked up the denture pieces and said oh all the teeth are gone. My mind started singing a song from the Mamas and Papas. All the teeth are gone and the sky is gray. Kind of silly.

How to use a darning mushroom or gourd: To repair socks or jumpers, push the mushroom behind the hole to slightly tension the fabric. Sew threads across the hole parallel to each other piercing the fabric on each side of the hole. Come back along, sewing at right-angles to the first threads and weaving over-under to fill in the hole. Tensioning the fabric stops the darning from pulling the fabric together.

Just saw a fantastic idea for displaying colored glass beads or other glass trinkets. Use a framed piece of chicken wire. Hang one bead or trinket in each opening/section of the chicken wire. The frame allows you to hang the completed work in front of a window to really capture the colors with the sunlight shining through. Have you ever tried this?

I just wanted to mention that there has to be some sort of fun crafty thing you could do with those almost whole teapots. Planter? Or turn it into a miniature room for your miniature dolls that you find. I’ve seen people do this..a miniature artist on KZbin in fact made a wonderful broken teapot miniature room. I loved that blue flower teapot with the missing spout! The hole was like a little window!
