I want to last to fly and I was staying to take lessons, but when Discovery left my income changed and I had to re-evaluate where I spent money. Turns out flying is expensive. It came down to keep the boat or sell the boat and learn to fly. I am never going to seem my boat .

I helped design it and cooperated with a local builder Bay Weld boats in Homer Alaska. They are AMAZING I did a bunch of the welding, wiring, painting etc. but they are the true amazing minds behind the construction

Why wouldn’t the chopper take the cargo directly to the lodge and place it there?

The lodge is about 65 miles away from the road system which is to far for the helicopter to do round trips one sling line at a time. So I bring the cargo from the road system to within a short helicopter ride from my boat to the lodge. Then is only a 30 second turn around for the 🚁.
