It didn’t hold because there is a progressive on the royal flush which the pay is higher..if the royal didn’t have a progressive then the 4 aces w kicker would have hold automatically. Nice hit btw.

of course the dealt aces with kicker was luck, but the skill is knowing that in TDB, being dealt 3 of the 4 cards to the get premium quad along with the kicker, you also hold the kicker. That's a TDB rule but I also know all of the other rules of TDB. my guess is you do not frequently play TDB but instead, play JoB, BP, or DDB.

@LuckyMrB I'm a professional gambler.. I play all video poker in the hi limit level.. sometimes the rules don't always apply on certain games.. that random number generator will generate your algae rythem of play and sometimes works against you.. just saying.. sometimes you have to do what feels natural on the play.. I've been doing this a long time.. good luck and keep on playing..
