As an international student living in Beppu, I've been fortunate enough to visit all those places and I absolutely love the ice cream shop. We university students usually call it the "old man ice cream" shop. Really nice thick flavor. Anw I'm about to graduate. Gonna miss this lovely town :(
@Jeni103 жыл бұрын
In Italy, they sell gelato, which the west calls ice cream, but gelato is very different in texture and flavour. Gelato has a kind of springy, stretchy texture that’s smooth and rich in flavour. Pistachio gelato is one of my favourites! After gelato in Rome, plain old Aussie ice cream can’t compare.

If I am ever fortunate enough to visit Japan, I definitely want to go to Beppu. What a fascinating town! The hot springs and mud holes are so amazing. The steam escaping everywhere was so wondrous. Usually I can say what my favorite food is that I would love to try, but I couldn't this time. All of the food looks so delicious and attractive. I loved how the food was cooked using the steam from the hot springs. Thanks for another fantastic video!

Thank you guys for visiting and touring another place I'll never be able to visit. The sulfur in the air would kill my poor lungs. I can't get over how delicious everything looked. From the pudding to the ice cream it all looked dope. I would have been throwing down on that ramen, and the meal you had steamed looked OMG bitchin'. I loved this and can't thank you enough for taking me and the other TabiEats family members on this wonderful tour of Beppu.♥️🤗😚

Ohayo boys! Bucket list! Oh my gosh!! Beppu looks absolutely amazing! I’m enjoying this series of videos so very much! I love how the steam is just coming up everywhere around Beppu! I especially love how so many different food items are cooked utilizing the steam. The seven different hot springs were awesome.....reminded me of visiting Yellowstone as a child. The reimen that you boys had looked so interesting. I have yet to try any “handmade” noodle dish. The gokuraku manju and the steam pot-oh my! I absolutely LOVED the music you chose for that segment and I loved how healthy the treasure box was! To this day, Japan has THE best とうもろこし, I have ever tasted. Brother Shinichi and brother Satoshi, please please do a cooking lesson on Toriten! I would love to add that into an obento box for my boys. Domo Arigatou! Hontoni Domo Arigatou for all of your hard work! I love our TabiEats Family and always look forward to your AH-MAZING videos! ♥️

Looking at some nice dishwares, I wonder if Beppu is famous for pottery. I saw a huge pot in the noodle shop, and the dishes for Jigoku puddings and the small dish at the Toriten place have similar glazes. I am not a potter but all the steam and clay make me wonder because I love ceramics! And, having steam all over the town, Beppu residents must have beautiful skin:) Of course, food, too! No going back after we taste fresh delicious food!
