Sadly sockeye do not eat lures because they actually eat plankton. Amazing Kings!

Perhaps you should consider targeting another species? One that requires a method other than indiscriminate snagging.

That’s how u know the fish taste good, no pics, don’t let them clients hold it up and bruise that meat, just straight in the box👍

What the hell Shea McIntee? Snagging is not fishing, it's snagging!! WTF were you and your boys thinking? Epic Bummer! What a shame!

Hey, appreciate your passion for fishing! Snagging is definitely a different method, but in this specific location and season, it’s 100% legal and the primary way sockeye are caught in this area.

@@StokedOnFishing The Legality of your actions is not in question. What's in question is your definition/foundation of "stoked on fishing" and why you and your group would resort to "snagging" after catching limits of Halibut and Salmon? Have you forgotten the stoke associated with C.P.R.?
@StokedOnFishing2 күн бұрын
@@johnhaugie4555 We absolutely respect the importance of C.P.R. and practice it regularly when it aligns with conservation goals. That said, we don’t always catch and release we also keep fish, clean and store them properly, and eat what we harvest without waste. In this case, we were fishing within legal guidelines and following the common practices for this fishery. We always encourage responsible angling and respect for the resource, and we appreciate the discussion.

@@StokedOnFishing Shea, my apologies for my initial post. It was toxic. I remember your early days behind the camera for Inside Sportfishing. Over the years you have done a great job with C.P.R. We clearly do not agree on the practice of snagging, regardless of legality. But, that's what makes this country great. We can agree to disagree. Tight Lines!
