@rickduque5799 you don't have to wonder, chiropractic has no provable medical benefits or certifications from independent organizations. It can help people sometimes, but it can also do serious damage. The origins of chiropractic is seriously messed up.

I need this adjustment but im also hypermobile so I need a Chiro that knows the right amount of pressure to not bring me into permanent/semi-permanent over-strectehed ligaments in the areas adjusted. This is my challenge. My left leg has issues stemming from a poor adjustment done to my scoliosis that is in the mid-thoracic area. What happened was I got the mid-thoracid adjustment & then my left knee started clicking. I was too nervous to go back in to see the Chiro. I also ended up w/ severe swelling in mid-thoracic & a Neuro had a to do a deep shot w/ an extremely long needle into mid back. The shot worked. I ended up in Physical Therapy for my knee bc then I ended up so immobilized & was having to use a walkwr just to walk. Its been since 2020 that I've had issues. The PT helped but my back expresses a bit if a different alignment. Interestingly enough, the Chiro adjusting me said to never let a Chiro touch my neck. I have military neck & many issues in the cervical region including Syringomyelia & Syringobulbia which goes up into my low brain. So many things have happened to me. I just need health care practitioners to be gentle w/ me but it doesn't mean I don't want treatment but I'm certainly a tough case. 😂

My left ankle had no ligaments and I had to get a ligament transfer. Took like 5 different doctors and hospital visits to find that out. One visit to Boston Mass General and I was having surgery the following week. They wanted to do my right ankle I declined. On a strange note. I had only one child and she was born with an extra bone in each ankle.

My doctor tells me, “clicking and popping sounds are normal, I can’t see any reason for a corrective procedures” after looking at me for 30 seconds and running her hand up my back once. Bearing in mind, I’ve had back and shoulder pain for about 3 years now. Shoulders sound like bubble wrap but “it’s normal” apparently.
