I get the impression that Wozniacki coming back will be a top player again, but I think Iga is likely to be just one step ahead of her when it comes down to critical points, when Iga is playing her best tennis (which, with her, psychologically, has become a big "if" on the tour).

Iga is the most consistent player on tour. I don't get a feeling there is something wrong with her mentality. In fact she seems to have her head in much better place than the rest of the tour.

Iga has a beautiful service motion yet I don't understand why she can't put more speed on it! It's her biggest weakness in her game especially the 2nd serve!! She doesn't get enough free points!!

that's not true. she has some minor issues with the serve ...mostly 1st ...(placement, consistency, speed) and in general, she lacks a little bit of variety for both 1st and 2nd but she's been working on that and in the last months of 2023 we could see some changes. Her 2nd serve is one of the best currently in WTA and data (stats) can prove it. The speed is not the only factor that determines how good the serve is. Moreover...faster serves if not placed/rotated correctly can turn against the serving player.

Ok coach I get it but the point I'm making is free points (aces)! She's not even in the top 20 in aces on the tour! Her placement isn't as accurate as it should be! Fed never had the biggest serve but his placement, speed & spin gave him more aces than Nadal & Djokovic combined! Free points make life much easier - just look at Serena's career!🤔@@freezingcocacola7201

Caro is striking the ball really well... depending on the draw she could get to the 2nd week of the US Open but she is unlikely to beat Iga, Aryna, Elena or Ons Jabeur ....

Caro would like to feel how it is to play against a tennis phenom like 1GA. She is trying to find out how she can beat her in actual match. 1GA should rather practice her service games to be more precise and strong to achieve those elusive aces. They are crucial in tie breakers and deciders. Aces are weapons of legends that render opponents helpless.

I do not think it is good for Iga to be practicing with anyone other than herself. At one time, she had versatility in her game. Now, she has adopted the same game as the opponent. She stands at the baseline and bash balls until she hits them out of bounds. She is hitting so many unforced errors, because that is not her style of play. She should not be out there wasting her time with anyone like Wozniacki.
