Epic country, used to be an addicted quail hunter, Quail can bust out on the flush at 55 mph, that wing sound brings it all back, thx for taking me along, disabled and worn out now, Enjoy your dogs too. Right on point.

Outstanding video and sparked so many memories for me as I started hunting Mearns Quail back in 1984. You got to experience the full meal deal with my favorite bird of all. In your next trip you need to see if you can get the AZ grand slam in one day! That is Gambles, Scalies and Mearns. I am probably one of a handful of hunter which have taken all three species in one canyon. Thank for sharing experience including great dog work. Cheers, Bob!
