They really should have had you go through this after the "The Mad Doctor's Plan" Song. Because now not only does the player know, but also the characters should know now too

Yeah I don’t think they thought that through too well. Maybe they were thinking the player and characters would just assume the projector was when he was still evil but that’d be a large leap in logic.

It's scripted to play each part of the song when you reach an specific point in the projector
