let's see. a story between the 1st and 2nd game of the series. our hero goes into a castle because he is desperately looking for all he knows. The main antagonist doesn't have a heart and wants to. all while the hero is assisted by Jiminy cricket. haven't I have seen this before

All the non-forgotten toons were dragged into Wasteland...it's literally in every description of the game. Mizrabel was going to steal every Disney character's heart to get her entire castle out of Wasteland and fuel her magic.

Disney theory: In the remake of Castle of Illusion, in the end, I think that might be Mizrabel's real body. I think the Evil Queen and Maleficent are her favorite villains. She somehow has the ability to transform into any Disney villain she wants. Maybe she has Maleficent's powers. That explains the dragon in the final boss fight.
