For those who haven't heard, this is the story behind the phrase "As Above, So Below", which may or may not also be the key to understanding the Universe: It all starts in Ancient Egypt (Alexandria, I believe), when the greek god of Radiant Truth, among other things, Apollo, who had been granted a golden tongue that could only speak the truth, granted a boon to a wise mortal who had pleased him; Apollo would answer truthfully any one question for this man. Wisely, the man thought about it a long time, and then asked "What is the answer to all questions humanity will ever have about the nature of what we do not know?" Pleased with the wisdom of the question, Apollo answered as such: "All is One, One is All. As it is above, So it is below" As it is with the Gods, So it is within You." For context, "Above" was known as the Universe at the time, and "Below" was earth, our daily lives. So what Apollo was saying is that the gods are not seperate from humans, that the All is not seperate from the One. That everything is one massive whole, and just as it is here in our daily lives, so it is in the higher dimensions that gods inhabit. Many number of other interpretations have been made, but Apollo himself supposedly deemed the statement so important for us puny mortal monkeys to get our heads around that he Carved it down not in stone, but in a tablet of Pure Emerald Gemstone. He then handed The Emerald Tablet to the man, and went away.

it's also one of the principles of Hermeticism relating to the planes of existence - being physical, mental and spiritual. As above, so below means what happens on one plane happens on all of them (that's the basic description anyway). I like the Apollo story though, I hadn't heard that one!

Not sure where the quotes from, but here's my 2 cents. Dramatization needs few words, so if you want to really pack a punch let the readers imagination filling in the details. As such replacing: "something that makes the most horrific nightmares seem like a dream." into "something that makes your most horrific nightmares pale in comparison." Would have a stronger impact.

Welcome back world, to going down below into the dark, into the fires that burn in our hearts, to forge ourselves into something new. I have been burdened with glorious purpose, and yet that glory is merely a single push into what awaits us below.

This song sounds like a perfect rise of an Anti hero tormented by tragedy and lies.. his life completely butchered by someone screwing with his timeline. becoming a Anti Villain stranded in 21th Century after going through years of hell living now in a cyberpunk like dystopian and utopian world a path that shapes his true meaning and destiny from eventually realizing his only friend was his traitor.. who had set him up now just to realize the very thing that he considered a friend. let him to this path the very reason to why he lost everything he had. But time itself saw potentional in this victim of unnatural flow of time.. Which is why he was gifted this power of time. In the end his friend became his greatest enemy whom he swore to destroy and eradicate across all timelines. even if it meant destryoing the cosmic force that would resummon his friend.
