Absolute power. I want to be a god, I want to be something that always watches, always knows, something you will never escape, but always live in fear of. I want to break free from the mortal form, lengthen and multiply my legs like a spiders', slit my eyes like a cats' and have claws like your nightmares. I will be the eldritch god of terror that waits in the darkness after you turn off the light. The ever-present night. I crouch in the shadows and watch, and you think you see a flash of my inhuman eyes, a wisp of my hair, like deja vu, but you cannot tell, you will never know. Certainty is impossible because you are always _wrong_ about everything and anything. I want to show them how _wrong_ they are, how wrong they were about everything they ever knew, and I want to addle their minds, destroy their ideals and set them loose on the world. I will take delight in my position and show all who ever doubted me what I can become. What they created. What was their fault. I will be ignorance, I will be fear, I am the ancient and only true fear of humanity; fear of that which one does not know. ...Humanity is for losers 'aight?

Sounds dumb. Heroes aren’t heroes to be famous and praise. They there to prevent the bad guys and not get any recognition. A cop stops a bank robber but nobody knows the cop name, but the news where mention the bank robber name and picture. Only the bank robber get recognition cause majority of people like negatively and this gives power to the quote bad guy. Cause majority of humans wonder if they could let go of their so called morals and do bad things just to feel their primal instinct, which is to survive in any means necessary

Arthur Fleck as Joker is honestly the best depiction of a "supervillan" I've ever seen. Not only was the way he played it astonishingly real, but the film was incredibly brave for putting on a film dedicated to detailing the backstory of the villain, not simply what they did in the aftermath. This film should shine a bright light on the root of teenage su*cides, school shootings, and all the tragic acts of evil committed by people. Violent acts rarely appear in a vacuum unless the perpetrator felt there was a purpose to act for. Mental Health is the root of the issue. Poverty and ignorance of the lower class, instead of engaging ourselves so deeply with celebrities and delusional tik tok stars. We ought to make a change and start going toward the ROOT of the issue.

@@triplemoyagames4195 nice, but I would like to argue a different perspective. It isn't that dormant corrupt people become actively corrupt in the presence of power, that's a very naive take on the topic, but it's the very nature of power to corrupt. Hypothetically, if you asked God to read everyone's minds and then kill all the future murderers and rapists in the world, he would tell you he doesn't know all of them. It's very naive to think people are secretly evil and are just waiting for authorisation. I am not saying everyone will react the same way when given power, but in different times, under different circumstances, power will have different effects on them. Their will won't shape the power they possess but the other way round.

Yep, Satan used to be God's first mate, Lucifer. Brightest of em all. But when he saw humanity and thought "How come these lower life forms than us are given authority over the earth?", that was the true birth of the Satan, the adversary.
@innyen19d4 жыл бұрын
Incorrect. Lucifer is "The" devil. The guy at the top. He was never an angel. He was a Cheribum. Like a majestic covering piece for The throne. He has jewels in him, and pipes for music. As Lucifer was the minstrel in heaven. Satan though, is plural. The word itself from the Greek means "Adversary." Satan is more like a team name. Its all the creatures from heaven that accepted the nature of sin. Satan swiping down a 1/3rd of the angels is like saying that they saw and also accepted sin when the rest of the compilation of satan, came at them. The tail is where many reptiles power is. Defense and offense. So the swipe was the suggestion of sin. The 1/3rd took Lucifer up on the offer, through Satan. Its literal and metaphoric at the same time. Its also- Quantum. It seems though that a Cheribum is like a living creature like a tool, or a decorative accent. Tool aspect because God put a Cheribum with a flaming sword to guard Eden after the fruit incident. (Also that fruit is metaphor for "sin suggestion" as well.) The only imagery ideas I can come up with for a Cheribum would be like the candlestick and the clock in Beauty and the Beast. How they were alive. But utilitarian decorum pieces at the same time. They had a purpose, hold candles, keep track of time. Seems similar to Gods descriptions in His 1611 KJV.

Lucifer was the first rebel for freedom against a tyranny. He said open their eyes, let them know the truth. If you love them, why do you separate yourself? Why do you impose your rules? How holy and great is the one who holds it together with threats of eternal violence? You are only perfect because you say, and crush the opposition. You are a control freak. Let us free. Let them free. Have them become aware. Bring them from a state of base instinct and into a state of consciousness. You forbid because in it rest the eventual dethroning of your power. I will do it then. I will set them free. I will take your banishment. I will take your beatings. I will endure a bad name and fear and lies. I will risk the fate of a cursed creature in sacrifice for the good of all...except you. They will call me satan, devil, father of lies. They will hate me. But a good father does what needs to be done, and accepts the repercussions. This is my fate; to embody the tragedy of good.
