the only thing that is missing (for my personal needs) is a washer/dryer. Some bus conversions I've seen do include that. I would use some kind of wall mounted heating system - freeing that floor space for a washer/dryer. Other than that this school bus conversion is stunning!

Yea they could literally sell the design plans for this and interior decorating options!
@Hunnter2k35 жыл бұрын
The fact the design is so open is great. With time they might even decide to add more in to those spaces if they felt it. This is something I would personally do myself, I wouldn't try to cram in a ton of stuff I MIGHT use, I would leave it all open as much as possible and only fit in exactly what I do need at the moment. Pretty much all I need is storage for electronics, multimedia and art supplies, the rest a decent sized kitchen like this and minimal clothes storage, preferably clothes that can be mixed and matched easily without looking too clashing. That's a very little amount of space, probably just slightly more than this design all things considered. Although as they say their selves, the wood stove is OTT for the space, which is true a lot of times. I would get a smaller wall-mounted one and that opens that huge corner space right up. Lot of flexibility in this kind of design where you try keep the majority of fixed bulky stuff on one side and keep simpler light and non-fixed objects on the other side. Tables, moving storage, seats and so on. Even better if they can collapse. Preferably on the opposite side to heavier storage such as water tanks just to keep the overall vehicle balanced. When you go to smaller sizes you need to make as much multi-functional space as you can, every little helps. A generic space like that can allow you to do so much more than if you had a bunch of stuff all cramped together and feel like navigating a maze through it.

Exactly, it'd be good to know as well how they get the money for all these. Do they still go to work 9-5? Do they work remotely? If yes, that probably requires a stable internet connection? And if they ever wanted to have kids and how they imagined it with kids? So many questions get unanswered in these videos.

These are my kind of people! Create a 10ft couch that folds out into an enormous bed for their three beautiful 🐕 🐶 dogs! Not to mention building a couch on the dashboard so their dogs can look out the window 😍🐶!I wonder what breed the curly haired dogs are- I have a rescue dog who looks very like them but have no idea what breed he is. Their giant dog is beautiful he looks kind of like a white St Bernard!

Life is a Rainbow I believe the two smaller or medium size dogs are Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers! We have a 9 year old one. It’s a wonderful breed. Our guy loves going with us in the car.

One of the most stunning skoolie conversions I've EVER seen!!! 💖😲💖

Man now I'm stuck between the yurt and the skoolie I really really really love the tiny house but I feel like it's not for me I would love to have a bedroom where I can stand and I feel like a skoolie or a yurt be a good option for me. Thank you Bruce for making me realize that maybe I was destined to go tiny. 😆😂

Some issue. I want the yurt style since my partner has land, but I also want to go. It’s a tough one. I’d say yurt then get a van to travel in.

What a beautiful job designing and decorating this "bus". What a lifestyle you have and I love the dogs!

Your dogs are adorable. I can see how much they add to your life. My only concern is that they have a safe place (like a crate) while driving on the freeway. Best wishes to you guys.

I'd like to see more details on raising the roof 20". That looks like hard work!
@PeaceOfMake3 жыл бұрын
They obviously hired people to do it. The reason why their home is double the price of materials.
@thomasdarby60843 жыл бұрын
@@PeaceOfMake That may be, but if you look at the sides of the bus above the windows, the old window drip covers are still attached to the roof... so it wasn't THAT professional!
@PeaceOfMake3 жыл бұрын
@@thomasdarby6084 I never said it was done very well, just that they didn't do it themselves.

The exterior paint job is so clean and immaculate. The RV windows make sense as the wood stove very functional kitchen. Your entrance door is so homey along with the stone steps. So smart😎

The doggies really seem to like their bus-home. It was great that the wife created a space just for them.

@Just Cats I have a shower head that lights up as the water flows thru it. Red, blue, green, yellow.... And its pretty cool showering in the dark bcuz the shower head emits the perfect amount of light! But, I'm still jealous, too, of theirs 😂😂😂😂

If you got in early on Kickstarter they were much cheaper. The company has a new version out now.
