On the off chance this reaches anyone: please don't cut a long metal pans with metal knives. I had to take my kids to the emergency room after eating metal shards from a cheesecake. The bakery said it was this problem.

I love pecan pie. It's my favorite but this cake is just too much. Those disc's look like they'd be hard to cut through just to get a slice of the cake. This one just isn't for me...
