Andrew! After using the Instant Pot a few times you will notice that the silicone sealing ring (it's in the lid) will start to smell funky...Take a gallon ziplok bag and put 1/2 a box of baking soda in it and after washing (and drying) the ring store it in the bag with the baking soda it will remove the stink from the silicone!

Flair if u want to kill a lot of raccoons go to your local Walmart and buy a couple cans of sardines the stinch off of them will bring them all around for 10 miles away and they love them I kill at least 1,000 raccoons every season

Im not a trapper and i dont know if it will work, but what if you drill a hole through the golf ball and put an eye bolt in it. Then you attach it with a piece of rope to the traps chain so you dont lose the balls all the time.

Best Racoon trap I've seen was a hole drilled in a tree with shiny metal at the bottom, they grab the metal cuz it attracts them but they wont let go so their front paw gets stuck in the log. Then u dispatch them from there. I have never bought a dog proof and I catch a dozen coons every year on one log.

I’ve trapped hundreds of coons. The best remedy I found that works great for me is putting gummy lifesavers on the trigger inside the dog safe traps before setting them. It makes the coons really grab ahold of the trigger without just picking the food out.
