I really love the games on Third World. The style of the map creates for interesting tactics and unique strategies. On a side note - trying to be as constructive as possible - while the game itself gets an A, the cast quality at most gets a C. Just a recommendation - especially beyond the early-game, don't get so carried away looking for the buildings that are upgrading things, and instead keep your focus on army group composition/positioning and the shuttles. After repeatedly reminding us how important drops were in PvP, you didn't even pay attention to where the shuttles were 90% of the time. e.g. at 26:31 on screen you'll notice there's a small mini-game going on with Rain's shuttles in Stork's base, Stork following the shuttles with his own small army and pulling his drones. at 25:24, on your screen is a Stork shuttle and an upcoming battle, and you are focused on locating a spinning forge working on +3 in Rain's base.

Falcon, you cannot dodge scarabs but you can reduce damage from them by moving away. That way scarabs will only do splash damage. Same trick can be applied to spider mines

During the final battle, Stork forgot he had 2 Dragoons on the high ground overlooking his natural (from 15 minutes ago). They would have helped so much!

Rain knew that he was never going to catch up to Stork's army count, and stork was actually mining minerals. That one cannon at Rain's third wouldn't even be able to stop a single dragoon from killing the nexus.

I am on the more TvT train. "Just tank lines" are pretty interesting to me, the strategic positioning that one has to do in order to attack the point of the tank lines is fascinating, and TvT is also pretty drop heavy.

I actually am a big fan of TvT for what it's worth. I know the slow tank lines aren't the best for dynamic commentary but I love the positioning and flanking and mind games. It's a lot like a version of naval battles in the golden age of sail.

5:16 Rain won KSL season 3, defeating snow 4-0 and mini 4-1 en route to the title (Stork lost to Mini 4-1 in the other semifinal). He also won ASL season 5, came 3rd in ASL season 8 and 2nd in KSL season 4. Stork is a great veteran player, but Rain was the best Protoss in the world in 2018/2019.

I just discovered this channel and I'm pretty new to broodwar casting, I've seen a fair share of sc2 though, this said I can tell that the mirror matches are usually not my thing in sc2 (except ZvsZ), but in broodwar they actually are looking more fun, so I'll watch a TvsT next time you'll cast one

Do Protoss ever make Scouts? I’d guess they’re only useful if Terrans have massed Battlecruisers, or need to kill mass rampaging Guardians? I guess they’d be good against another Protoss player who massed Carriers. They cost quite a bit, and against non air units they’re pretty terrible.

Now i don't wanna look like i know more than pros do cause I'm shit in comparison but, out of simple curiosity, why don't protoss players just make like 2 coursairs in PvP, if u can kill that shuttle, you can prevent drops, or at the very least the reaver micro with it and since nobody escorts that with AA units it would be free.
