Hey Andrew, in your own home studio, what brand of acoustic treatment do you use? The sound you get is really high def, with nice transients, and great low end. I used to think preamps were gonna solve that for me but I just acquired some nice quality preamps, and my sounds are much better, but still not as good as yours. Came to realise, it's gotta be my room. So I'm going to invest in some more professional level acoustic treatments. I was gonna go with GIK acoustics. Wondering which you go for because your sounds are great!

I have a C24 and it's really a game changer for me. Making automations with the mouse was boring for me. With the C24, I feel like I'm mixing with my ears, not my eyes. I run PT under Rosetta (on a Mac mini M1) so it can see the C24 as a legacy controller and have full access to all the functions of the board. If I run PT natively, it can only see the C24 like a hui controller so the board is limited..

can i ask an extremely stupidd question? as an European I noticed that a huge percentage of these videos have people holding a mug. is that an American thing, or a sound producer thing? cuz I've never seen that anywhere else out of US
@sferguson11304 ай бұрын
It’s more of a creative professional trend, rather than just producer/mixer thing. It’s definitely a thing though lol. As if none of these people ever drink soda, energy drink, bottled water , etc.
