Scooters will never be as sexy as motorcycles, but the reality is they originate from the desire of taking the motorized 2 wheel vehicle concept and redesigning it as efficiently as possible and not being limited by the classic "bicycle with and engine in the middle" design. That's why they are so efficient and comfortable because the basic design was started from a clean sheet of paper and it was done by aeronautical engineer Corradino D'Ascanio under contract for Piaggio. Corradino D'Ascanio is well known for hating motorcycles at the time for being bulky, dirty, and unreliable and the scooter design was him fixing all the "problems" with motorcycles. The man was a genius of his time, the scooter was kind of a side project he was a pioneer in designing helicopters. And that's why a scooter is so efficient, easy to ride, easy to maintain and many people after they get their first maxi scooter even after having ridden bikes for many years don't see a point in going back to traditional motorcycles.

Incerc sa fac ce pot si nu prea ma pasioneaza sa joc teatru. In final sunt pasionat de chestii mecanice si ma pricep la fizica si matematica si mecanica si consider ca am abilitatea sa analizez un vehicul dpdv tehnic asa ca despre asta vorbesc. Nu stau sa ma iau dupa ce indicatii dau producatorii ce texte sa ne facem. Zic ce vad si vorbesc despre ce simt. Incerc sa analizez doar produsul in contextul pietei pentru ca conteaza si pretul nu doar sa fie un produs bun si expun ce cred eu ca sunt pozitive si negative si cum as folosi eu respectivul produs.

That's a really long trip .. considering you were riding a 350cc .. cheers mate .. happy you made it to ATHENS .. the longest trip I made was around~600 km that i covered in one day on my CRUISYM 300

Athens was great. The highest fuel consumption I saw on a single stint was 5.56l / 100 km but average for the entire trip is a bit less then 5. Plus total average for mine in the last 9400km is 4.46L / 100km

The TG400 is awesome, you can do touring on it and off-road it's just better then any scooter I have ever tested. But for this highway high speed cruising the 350E just punches so far above it's class. For a 350 to maintain 140-145 cruising speed and also have so much wind protection is amazing. I think for the money it's the best highway touring scooter/motorcycle (yes I'm including brand new motorcycles) that you can buy.

I don't see why not, they are just as capable to cover this distance. The only problem is you, if you can last 13-14 in hours in the saddle.

Covering 400 or 500 km gives you a perspective of how the scooter behaves and if it is reliable on the road etc. You take those scooters on monstertours so I was wondering if you can make a vlog of a roadtrip with the 2 I mentioned. Btw I really like your vlogs. I am planning to buy a scooter too. Kymco exciting 400 or the AK550. I am not sure yet.

I use it as a commuter to do 36 km twice a day, winter and summer, in a 90 km average speed. My concerns are, reliability confort, stability and whether protection. I have purchased the cruisym following your advices and haven’t been deceived so far 😁. The cruisym is 16000 km so far.

Nice trip. Do you have a lav mic or just dji mic when riding? Get some riding pants man, safety first. Also with this fuel consumption you are cheaper with a diesel car 😂. If you average under 100km/h just get a 125 cc. At least you got to filter the traffic, thats better on 2 wheels 😂.

I had the DJI Mic 2 in my helmet. Fuel consumption is kind of normal for a motorcycle and the speed I was doing. Checked with other people with 500cc motorcycles and running that speed they get around the same fuel economy.

it tops out at about 155-160 and I maintained around 135-145. After a full 2500 round trip, checked the oil it's still on full. So it did the entire trip at almost full speed without the oil level going down even a little bit.

What wind noise, with the windscreen up I can ride at top speed with the vizor of my helmet open, there's 0 wind noise. Entertained well I do these math games in my head with what averege speed where do I refuel when will I arrive etc plus look at the sceenary plus talk to the camera :)

The ADX125 is better for touring then the 200. I tested it on my road trip to Thessaloniki a month ago and it's much better setup for long distance touring.

Nu exista indiferent de model, dețin și SYM și Zontes, symphony ST 200 pt scuter mic de oraș cu care pot face și drumuri lungi când nu ma grăbesc, zontes 350E balenă mare de touring rapid când am nevoie sa parcurg distante foarte lungi foarte repede în confort. Depinde ce anume vrei de la scuterul tău și vezi ce producător are un model care sa de servească cât mai multe din cerințele tale.

@@bobitamomita7317 ca și fiabilitate zontes e prea tânăr sa zic dacă e mai bun sau mai slab ca Sym. Eu nu am o loialitate fata de un brand anume de aceea momentan în "flota" am un BMW, un Sym, un Zontes. Fiecare vehicul pentru un anume scop. Ca și istoric SYM are mai multa istorie și experienta decât zontes deci alegerea mai înțeleaptă sa zic asa ar fi Sym. Zontes sunt tineri dar la fel de tineri erau și tesla acu niște ani. Zontes vine cu multe chestii la preturi mici și accesibile sunt de urmărit și de aceea cel puțin cu 350E-ul m-au impresionat atât de mult de le-am dat un vot de încredere prin achiziționarea unui exemplar și sa îl testez aici pe canal. Momentan în 9400km nu am avut nici o problema cu el. Dacă apare ceva voi raporta pe canal cum fac cu toate vehiculele mele :)

Am diseara la ce casca gura🎉. M-am tot gandit sa-l cumpar pana la urma am ales kymco downtown gt 350. Nu mi s-a parut fairplay diferenta de pret fata de alte tari. Oricum nu eram eu miezul 🤣. Cu un scuter vandut in plus nu se facea primavara. In fine, sunt curios dupa 10k km cum o sa fie. Succes!

Momentan are 9300 si nu am in plan sa ii fac altceva la 10.000 decat un schimb de ulei si filtre de aer. Zontes mai spune sa deschid capacul de la transmisie si sa o curat fara sa schimb nimic. Daca am timp ii fac si asta daca nu o fac la 20.000 la schimbul de curea.

I am not sure that the petrol indicator is correct! In my case when i get the indicator flashing red, i go to the petrol station and fill it with 12 lt ! So according to specs i should have 4 more lt in the tank, and as i trust the tank , i believe that the indicator is unreliable

Here's all I know from inside sources about their new models and this applies to the EU market only. Remember the zontes.com website is specific for the Chinese market and it doesn't reflect the reality in the EU. The 368 models currently are not homologated for sale in the EU. They can be homologated but importers are waiting for zontes to finalize the design because they are still tweaking the models. Hopefully spring/summer 2025 they will start to hit showrooms. I see Zontes Spain has the 368G on their website but I don't know if it's pre-order or they have stock but currently in eastern Europe they haven't started importing them. And the 500cc models all I know is that project is currently on hold. We will see in a month at EICMA.
