The lyrics are so perfect. "Drown in your sorrow and fears" has almost a double meaning, because the majority of the crew has been lost to drowning so far, and that's obviously one of their biggest fears. The reference back to survive as well... its so good.

Then also "Die in the blood where you bathe" is a reference to how she turned into a monster, I think? I'm not fully sure since I read it a while ago but from what I remember, Scylla was a pretty nymph and Circe was jealous, so Circe put a spell or something in the pond where Scylla bathes and it turned her into a monster.
