not sure how it was misinterpreted but incase it wasn't clear: i do think schniel is going to be a fantastic option against DDR with way less opportunity to manipulate him like sharun, but talking about the other characters in the game and how they may influence when schniel can be picked is not a new nor unreasonable thing to do! if i were to only consider a character and whether they can fulfill a single role, i would call plenty of characters r OP but that simply isn't the case.

I think they should make his skill 2 to be a DoT debuff cleanser, rather than just poison counter to make him more versatile

If he gets an EE that makes his passive counters Burn then SBA, Beehoo, and Dark Khawazu are fcked. If he gets an EE that makes his passive counters Bomb then Summer Iseria, Light Cidd, and Veronica are fcked, making BBK/Amiki even more busted. He hard-counters one of the currently strongest units in the game, and that's enough for now.

Yeah I'm probably just gonna pick him up for that. That combined with anti DDR + cool character design is enough for me. He'll be niche, but at the very least even if he gets benched later if DDR fades from meta, he'll have a place in PVE which is good enough for me.

It's kinda dark that the guy who was poisoned for years is the anti poison unit. Been poisoning for so long he built up an immunity.

His passive goes down to ONE TURN after skill up, so that's really awesome And his ult stacks up to 12k PER ENEMY

The irony is that DDR wasn't even included on the SSS tiers of last years HEADHUNT, but currently he's one of the most valuable pick ups in the headhunt. When did it start? After that headhunt where they announced the balanced patch. I can still remember cana joining the CC matches where DKS was released as a counter to DDR himself but it didn't work as much as everyone expected. Right now DDR has become a staple unit for almost everyone in the game, from cleave up until the slowest tanked down comps. I'm also having a weird feeling that there will be a monstrous unit after they announce the upcoming balance patch, either it's a buff unit or a newly released one.

we need more pre bans, we got like 30 new heros with the same amount of pre bans, we need at lease 3 pre bans now to keep up with team comps.

Actually glad they released Schniel now, before we could lock in our headhunts. Helped me make my decision between DDR and ML Poli!

He is going to be great in a vacuum. following the release of the nuke of a fire unit that is fire Flan, the enemy speedy unit on the enemy team just has to s1 him at the start of the fight, and he is getting one shot by her s2.

I was going to take DDR in the Headhunting event, should I take another one now? I also have ML Landy, ML Yufine as other good options.

Personally I'm still going for DDR, he still counters evasion and HP scaling units. AS flan is running rampant and he's one of her best counters besides Nakhwol and ML Luna. Might not be first pick as much but can be a force ban in later draft.

just get him, not like schniel is gonna completely make DDR useless. schniel won't appear on defenses anyway (it's stupid to bring a unit that exist only to counter 1 unit to defense) and rta? ban or play around him like drafting celine or politis

DDR can use S2 and an team mate poisons sonebody and then he uses S3 You just need to do what the other doesn't want to happen

y'know, I was planning on getting ddr from the headhunt, but now... Yeah I'm still gonna get ddr, I like the plague doctor, I just have to get him as well since he'll either be decent or get buffed if he's bad

DDR is still meta even with schniel around, since i highly doubt people will put schniel on their defenses since he is useless without DDR and if they do somehow see schniel on defense then they can just not use DDR. rta? just ban him, or bring a celine

@ethanlim3639 Speed>HP>Eff>Def>ER is all he needs. Try aiming at least 220-240 speed, 16k-20k HP 1.3k-1.5k def, 100Eff and the rest on ER.

@Warthon-h5u there is plenty of good counters to debuffers that can can counter him pretty well give me a break you didn't really needed "hard counter" to him...laia/celine/deli/achates etc this is just of some the units that can deal with him...and on top of that there is plenty other much more OP and toxic units out there...bbk/arvi/ludwig/ran etc...but no ddr is the problem right? DDR is a control unit he is a necessary evil to deal with all the other toxic bs...his win rate is only 50%.
