Is the week from 21 to 28 December busy you think? Cause I am planning to go there this year but I don’t wanna come across very very long lines like at 2:04

I think it should be busy. It's the end of the year and holidays, so everyone's planning for mountains. However, the line was not that bad as it looked. I spent maybe 20 mins. This was the ONLY line that I was in that day. It's the lift that brings you to other lifts and connections, and normally you don't ski all the way to this lift and don't need to stay in a line again. At other lifts on the slopes, I did not experience any crowds. Two tips: 1. Try to come earlier (around 8:30am, just check the website that it's open at that time). 2. Buy lift passes in advance. There is a machine that sells them there. Also, you can buy them inside the lift building. Just come one day in advance.

@@SwissAdventure yeah holidays are always busy times. But if that was the only (long) line u were in that day it’s not that bad. And I have been there loads and loads of times in the summer so I know how and what. But good to know that the lifts from the village is busy. Thank you for the information and tips!

@@Thetrainexpertyouknow If I had to choose, I would go to the other side of the valley: Mannlichen and Wengen. The slopes are longer and wider. The number of slopes is also bigger. The views are as nice as in Grindelwald. My personal experience skiing around Grindelward First 6/10. It was OK, but places like Seas Fee, Zermatt and Mannlichen/Wengen were better. The only problem with December is that there might be not enough snow for the lower part of the valley. So, some slopes might be shorter than in Feb/March. Just check out their winter map. Have fun!

Why did you ignore all the skiing on the other side of the valley? This should be called skiing Grindelwald First.

That part belongs mostly to Wengen and Mannlichen. So yes, this video shows the area around Grindelwald First.
