Not only that, but the defense kicked into a whole other gear at the end. When fatigue and weather should have set in, the 49er defense became intellectually animalistic. If you can rewatch the last 15 or so plays, you'll see. I havent seen anything like it before. Amost frightening, and it's amazing.

What he did with those 3 kicks, under those conditions... He said before the game that he's played these kinds of games in the cold before. He noted that it's like kicking a brick. He knew he would leave the game with a heavily bruised, black and blue foot. He comes out to speak after the game and spends his whole time praising the snapper and holder by name - his squad - and continued talking about Jordan Willis and Jimmy Ward and Deebo and others - completely deflecting what he did to his teammates. Incredible how good this defense has gotten. It’s gotten better and better each week. You can see how much better DeMeco Ryans has gotten over the course of the year. Putting together better and better game plans and being able to make in game adjustments quicker and quicker. After the first two drives, the defense shut them down and were absolutely dominant.

Exactly, the DB’s have gotten so much better since Mosley came back. That was the weak link in the D but not anymore. Week 3 ARod was able to just throw the ball up to Adams and he would come down with it or create contact for pass interference. Bang bang Niner Gang! We ain’t done yet!
