People often say the Sc2 skill has dropped off compared to the olden days. But I always held Parting as the king of Blink, what MaxPax is doing is not just evovled it's another level above that pure pleasure watching him pick off and annoy even the best. The level of both these players is just insane.

The balance is horrific for Protoss right now. The balance council basically expects them to play like a more expensive, but shittier zerg, to somehow pull of wins with perfect micro. I've noticed it from the Protoss losing all of these tournaments, but now the influencers are starting to shout it as well (The latest balance patch was a joke too)

@@theblessing33 it is just stupid to look at these big protoss numbers not getting anything done and destroyed by smaller groups of tiny marines and marauders... protoss units really lost their identity of being costly but strong... even lorewise, it was always about fighting against big army sizes with small numbers of strong units. and you always had to manage to somehow keep those strong units alive and fight countless weaker units with it. but nowadays protoss really feels more like zerg, while terran bio feels more tanky than protoss ground troups. when it turnes out protoss is too strong, then it's still possible to increase costs in supply or rescources, but instead they really just made them more like a shittier zerg, like you said. i don't get how the balance team can lose their vision to this extend. i don't even care if protoss is slightly weaker or harder to play. i just want them to be real protoss again.

This finals just reiterates why I stopped playing when Adepts were nurfed to need 3 shots to kill an SCV. Funnily enough, I'm pretty sure Protoss havent won a tournament since. 8, 9 years? How can you win against cheaper, faster, higher dps units that have an economic advantage with mules? Idk why i still watch these.

Been loving both players recently. I can't stand watching MaxPax, not build freaking star gates or phoenix's lol. Wanted to see him destroy all of Clem's medivacs and ravens. They are fun to watch though.

At +2 protoss ground weapons it takes 8 stalker shots (by my calcumalations) to take down a +0 medivac. If you get 7 shots, the medivac escapes at 3 hp. I find this extremely frustrating to watch. It's almost as much as a liberator, which has 30 more hp, but 0 base armor. It's not fair.

From the videos I've seen: Clem avoid pretty much ALL disruptors when he micro, Maru and Byun 50 / 50, the rest don't bother to micro to avoid [Terran, I have not pay attention to Zerg, like Dark or Rogue].
