What a series, the level of play and back and forth was amazing. Kept thinking games were over after amazing micro battles but both players had been marcoing hard behind them to come back in. Exceptional

MaxPax was able to win in the final match vs a terran in a terran-favoured map. Now that What I love to see, the guy is a beast. I would have died so many time being bullied by terran from start to finish but MaxPax cook and delivered hard. That was pure dopamine at the end.

We've seen so much of clem shot-dodging stalkers and adepts with the medivac and bunker its sick to see maxpax shot-dodge liberator too. They really do push each other a ton.

I can confirm: Proxy scouting reaper into concussive marauders definitely ends games quickly. I figure I practice this all weekend, I'll climb the ladder all the way back down to Gold league 😂

I believe that only is the case if the shield battery is close to a nexus. If it's just out on the map, it spawns with half energy, if I remember correctly.

@@AndrewRomashreading the shield battery wiki, I see patch 5.0.9 "Starting Energy reduced from 100 to 50 outside of the Nexus field". I see no other patches that changed starting energy.

More likely he just is so used to the timing between attacks that he just timed it out and knew when to blink to avoid the damage(which is still amazing)

On game 2: Why do pro players do that? Literally each and every one of them knows that, each and every one of them, when they decide to cheese, they will build their structures to the most remote place possible but within striking distance. And then, the opponent sends a unit to scout, it goes to all the places where if there was a structure you would actually be able to see it from orbit, they don't see anything and they go: "Ok, no cheese. I'm good."
