Yeah, I feel like everyone doesn’t care enough to remember that Penelope was a princess of SPARTA. Like, the Sparta that throws babies from the walls of the city if they are too weak and the Sparta that worships Ares, the god of WAR. She most likely grew up being taught that war has sacrifices so it confuses and bothers me whenever anyone makes her upset with Ody for throwing baby Astyanax over the edge, sacrificing his crew that betrayed him, or torturing Poseidon. She would understand that for her to get her husband back, there are sacrifices that need to be made

Exact I don't understand why they make Penelope say those things if she is a Spartan and has seen everything her husband has been through, she knows it is Poseidon's fault and that it is the only way to get home.She doesn't see her husband as a monster, she sees him as a man who wants to return home.

Calypso song is like a youtuber's empty apology video where they aren't actually apologizing 3:22 how cruel of you to put this moment but I also love it Antonius realizing how screwed he, is is amazing The people agreeing that Poseidon deserved what he got instead of them being like "oh gosh Odysseus thats mean" is better in my opinion because like Penelope WAS a Sparta princess. You have to understand, she was imprisoned as a CHILD. Children don’t understand what love is, their knot understanding comes from cheesy romance books or movies. It’s the same here. She doesn’t understand why her savior, or knight in shining armor doesn’t love her. And her sort of dramatic response is relatable, because she’s signing these cringe arguments you think in your mind to you future ex, but never do it.
