Are you using a flarm? If you fly close to the cloud base I would highly recommend you to take one with you. I'm a glider pilot and some gliders fly very close to the cloudbase as well. Actually I just recommend it in either case. Great videos neverthelesse. It's so amazing to see the clouds form in the timelaps and analyze the flows.

Awesome video man! I have just watched the first part yesterday so I’m happy I didn’t have to wait for long for the second part. I wonder why did you go to the left (you called lee side) after the very first transition in the video on second 44, instead of going to the right where the sun hits the slopes at a better angle? I hope you get which point I’m talking about. And again, thank very much for the video!! 👍👍👍

Great question! To the right the terrain gets very difficult, with several power lines and a narrow (unladable) valley. Furthermore, i was not convinced that there would be a thermal, but it would be intereszing to explore this side for sure.
